Guardians of the Galaxy at Night

    Is there anyway to ride Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind (other than paying for an Indian Lightning Lane or using Extended Evening Hours), if I Park Hop to Epcot at 2:00 PM? Thanks!

    Hi there Claire!  We are glad you stopped by planDisney with your question.

    Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is my new favorite attraction at Walt Disney World Resort!  I can see why you would want to make this amazing attraction a priority on your upcoming visit.  Currently, there are two ways for Guests to experience Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind.

    The first is to obtain a Boarding Group through the Virtual Queue via the My Disney Experience mobile app.  There are two opportunities each day to join the Virtual Queue.  Guests with a Disney Park Pass reservation for EPCOT may request to join the Virtual Queue beginning at 7:00 am.  There is a second opportunity to join the Virtual Queue at 1:00 pm.  Guests must have physically entered EPCOT that day in order to be eligible to join the Virtual Queue at 1:00.  On most days, all Boarding Groups have been distributed by the time Park Hopping hours begin at 2:00 pm.  Guests may only obtain one Boarding Group via the Virtual Queue per day during regular park hours.  There is an additional opportunity to join the Virtual Queue for Guests staying at Disney Deluxe Resorts and Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts on days when Extended Evening Theme Park Hours are offered at EPCOT.

    The second way to experience Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is to purchase Individual Lightning Lane access.  Guests staying at Disney Resorts Collection hotels, the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels, and Shades of Green may make Individual Lightning Lane purchases beginning at 7:00 am.  All other Guests may purchase beginning at the scheduled park opening time.

    At this time, there is no standby option to experience Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind.  If this attraction is at the top of your priority list, I would recommend either making your Disney Park Pass reservation for EPCOT or planning to purchase Individual Lightning Lane access.
