Is there anyway I could purchase a grad night ticket for my daughter even though we live out of state?

Hello Kristy, and welcome to planDisney! First of all, congratulations to your daughter on her upcoming graduation! The Disneyland Resort is the perfect place to celebrate this milestone.

Disneyland Resort Grad Nite tickets are sold through the Disney Imagination Campus as Group Tickets to schools who have signed up to attend the event. They are not sold to individuals. Rather, ticket sales are handled by each school. Your daughter would need to attend a school that is participating in Grad Nite to join the special event. If she does, I suggest contacting the school directly about purchasing a ticket. If she doesn't, then unfortunately it's not possible to purchase a Grad Nite ticket.

However, that doesn't mean you can't visit the Disneyland Resort outside of Grad Nite, Kristy! I've recently seen the cutest Mickey ears with a graduation cap and golden tassel at the parks. I can’t say for sure how long they’ll be available, but I think they’d make a fantastic keepsake. For an extra festive atmosphere, you might want to visit once the Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration kicks off on May 16. The Resort will have colorful decorations, exclusive merchandise, new entertainment, and more to enjoy. I can't wait to see all the nighttime spectaculars!

Kristy, I'm sprinkling some pixie dust and making a wish that your family finds the perfect way to celebrate your daughter’s big achievement! If you have any other questions, don’t hesitate to reach out. We at planDisney are always happy to help!

Here's to a happily ever after,
