Is there anyway to guarantee you have a room with queen beds (not doubles) before arriving, such as during the booking process?

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Amy! I love room to roll around when I’m catching Zzzzzs after a hard day in the parks. With my weight-lifting husband, a queen size (or even a king) is extremely welcome when booking a bed at Walt Disney World Resort.

The only real way to make sure you’re snagging queen beds instead of doubles is to consider the room type or Resort that you are booking. I can tell you that Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, Disney's Coronado Springs Resort,  Disney's Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter and Riverside, as well as The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort offer queen beds in their rooms. You’ll also find a Queen bed in the Master Suite of Disney’s Art of Animation Family suites (the other two beds here are slightly smaller than a queen, but much larger than a full). I would also recommend calling (407) 939-1936 to speak with a Cast Member to make your booking. They will be able to notate on your reservation your bed size preference, and hopefully they will be able to make it happen. Often times Resorts that offer a various types of setups at the same price point can’t guarantee you a certain room type, but Cast Members will certainly do everything they can to make your stay extremely comfortable!

If I can help you sleep as soundly as Sleeping Beauty, please return to ask another question. I’d love to help make your DREAMS a reality! ~ Lindsey P.
