A very merry welcome to planDisney, Cheryl!
I'm delighted you stopped by to discuss visiting The Most Magical Place on Earth during the most wonderful time of the year! Although white Christmases are rare in Florida, the forecast regularly calls for flurries of pixie dust.
Although
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party in Magic Kingdom Park and
Disney Jollywood Nights in Disney's Hollywood Studios are separately ticketed events, I'm happy to confirm that garland, tinsel, and twinkling lights are visible to spread holiday cheer for all Guests during regular theme park hours. If seeing the holiday illuminations at night is important to you, be sure to check the
Hours & Events Calendar as you plan. Magic Kingdom Park and Disney's Hollywood Studios close earlier than usual on party evenings.
While
event-exclusive entertainment and character experiences are reserved for Guests of Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party and Disney Jollywood Nights, there are
so many other ways to celebrate the season at Walt Disney World Resort! You can join in on holiday celebrations from around the world at the
EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays and say hello to Disney Animal Kingdom Theme Park's Merry Menagerie with a standard theme park ticket. Beyond the theme parks, you'll find that Disney Resort hotels each celebrate the season in their own way. This
Disney Parks Blog post from last year can give you an idea of what you might expect. The life-sized gingerbread house in Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is a must-see (and smell)!
I ho-ho-hope this was help this was helpful, Cheryl! If you have any other questions about celebrating the season at Walt Disney World Resort, feel free to
stop back by. I'm always happy to help!
Thinking Merry Thoughts,
Lizzie
