Is there anyway to change/upgrade a 14 day Ultimate ticket to a Magic ticket? We're coming for 3 weeks so having a ticket that covers 19 days would be so much better for us.

    Hello Lauren,

    Heigh-ho and welcome to planDisney!

Thanks for stopping by with such a great question concerning your 14-day Ultimate Ticket.  And, with your jolly 3-week-long holiday to Walt Disney World Resort coming up next month, I can fully appreciate your enquiry about the possibility of upgrading your Ultimate Ticket to a new-style Magic Ticket.

Lauren, I thought it might be helpful for me to begin by explaining that with just a sprinkle of Mickey magic back in late 2021, the UK-based Walt Disney Travel Company reimagined the older-style Ultimate Tickets into the newer-style Magic Tickets.

At this time, I'm happy to share that the original Terms and Conditions of the 7 and 14-day Ultimate Tickets are still exactly the same as they were at their original time of purchase.  To the best of my current knowledge, the Terms and Conditions of the Ultimate Ticket do in fact state that these tickets are non-transferable.

Lauren, I do fully understand this might not be the news you were wishing to hear.  However, my top suggestion for you would be to speak in person with a knowledgeable Cast Member who will be best placed to advise if it were at all possible to move forward with upgrading or amending your already purchased Ultimate Tickets.

To connect with a Cast Member, please dial the UK freephone number contained within this handy Walt Disney Travel Company - Contact Us link

During your telephone conversation with a friendly Cast Member, you'll be able to discuss any potential costs in upgrading your ticket, or indeed any amendment fees that might be incurred if an upgrade to your Ultimate Ticket was indeed possible.

It's always worth noting that everything is always subject to change at Walt Disney World Resort, and also that requests from Guests can never be guaranteed.

And lastly Lauren, you may also find these Frequently Asked Questions to be an insightful planning resource for your upcoming September holiday at the most magical place on earth.

If you should have any additional questions for me concerning your upcoming September holiday at Walt Disney World Resort, then please do feel free to pop back to me here at planDisney.

Have a great Disney day ~ Jane
