    Will there be anything special in WDW this Mothers Day 2011? Thanks

    Hi there Charlotte!
    My calendar says that Mother's Day this year is Sunday May 8th.  I have checked all my resources and all the park calendars and I have not been able to find anything specifically scheduled to celebrate Mother's Day.  

    I have noticed that the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival is still on at this time, and it is a wonderful festival with beautiful topiaries and gardens abloom everywhere!  On Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays during the festival (May 8th included), there are evening concerts (part of the 'Flower Power Concert Series) at the America Gardens Theater. Showtimes are at 5:15, 6:30 & 7:45 p.m.  On May 8th Davy Jones is the featured performer.  Admission to Epcot is required.

    I hope this helps...have a magical family time together!
