Good morning, good morning, Karen! While it’s great to stay up late, the mornings always hold such possibility. Since my kids are always up early, we’ve learned to hit the ground early and make use of our time before naps hit.
The rope drops at Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom are not entirely uneventful, as you will see many guests rearing to go as they make their way to the most popular attractions in the park, such as Soarin’, Frozen Ever After, Dinosaur and Toy Story’s Midway Mania. If you don’t have a
FassPass+ reservation for one of these, it’s wise to arrive early and use the standby lanes with as little traffic as possible. With
Extra Magic Hours, this is even easier!
At Magic Kingdom Park, you’ll be able to access the touch points (turnstiles) nearly an hour before opening, and explore Main Street U.S.A’s offerings like the Emporium, Main Street Bakery and
Harmony Barber Shop. About 10 minutes before the park officially opens (Extra Magic Hours included), you’ll be able to see the new
welcome show, “Let the Magic Begin” with some of your favorite Disney characters and a fun fanfare. It’s a fun thing to see before you branch off into the various “lands” of Magic Kingdom, and a fun way to spend your morning.
I hope you have many mornings of magic and fun attractions. Wishing you pixie dust! ~ Lindsey P.
