Hey there, Gene and Sandy!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. While every trip to the Disneyland Resort is so special, you will only ever have one "First Visit", so I would love to help make your little ones' trip the most magical it can be.
My number one tip for a first-time Guest is to head to City Hall in Disneyland Park to pick up a complimentary "First Visit" button. This will let fellow Guests, Cast Members, and even your favorite Disney Characters know that this is a once-in-a-lifetime experience for your kids.
For a super memorable experience, I recommend making an appointment at the
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique for children ages 3-12 years old. Here little boys and girls can be transformed into brave knights or dazzling princesses for the day. We took my son as a three year old, and he couldn't stop talking about his glittery hair and sword for months after our trip. Another fantastic way to take part in an iconic Disneyland Resort experience is to book a
Character meal for your family. With options at each of the three Disneyland Resort Hotels as well as in Disneyland Park, there is something for everyone. My personal favorite is the buffet and ambiance at Storytellers Cafe in Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa for Mickey's Tales of Adventure Breakfast Buffet.
Don't forget to also take photos in front of iconic Disneyland Resort landmarks so you can cherish these first visit memories forever. For added convenience, Disney PhotoPass photographers are located around the park to capture these magical moments.
I hope this helps, and please have a Fantasmic day!
