    Is there anything special happening on New Years Eve, at Magic Kingdom? I know that every day is special at Walt Disney World, but I mean anything EXTRA. Also, what are the hours of operation at Magic Kingdom on New Years Eve?

    My apologies that we weren't able to answer your question before the ball dropped. I hope you had an incredible time celebrating at the Most Magical Place on Earth. I do think this is a wonderful question, which will definitely help some of our other Disney Guests plan for the future, so thank you for asking and I'm thrilled to still answer it.

    As you said, every day is certainly special at Walt Disney World Resort, but there are always a few extra special New Years activities planned. This year, in Magic Kingdom Park, you could find a special Frontierland New Year's Celebration Dance Party and see the incredible Fantasy In The Sky Fireworks. There were also three special dining events nearby at Disney's Contemporary Resort.
