Is there anything special for Easter Sunday at the parks

Hi, Yvonne! Thanks for hopping by to see us again at the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Let's help you get ready for your "egg-cellent" Easter visit to the Walt Disney World Resort.

Easter comes calling a little later this year, on April 21. We haven't had any announcements just yet on what Disney has planned, but we can look to past years to get an idea of what might "spring" up around the Parks.

Looking back at some Disney Parks Blog posts, I see that the Easter Bunny welcomed Guests with a meet and greet at Magic Kingdom Park! Also in the Magic Kingdom, some springtime friends headed down Main Street, U.S.A. in a special pre-parade stroll.

Easter would be a wonderful time to see all the gorgeous flowers at the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival! Last year, my son had an "egg-ceptional" time doing Epcot's "Egg-stravaganza" scavenger hunt. I hope it comes back this year, because we really loved it!

Most holidays bring special seasonal treats to the Theme Parks and Resort hotels as well, so I'd look for a fun cupcake or other sweets to be on offer.

Yvonne, there will be a lot of fun in store for Easter all around the Walt Disney World Resort. Be sure to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog as we inch closer to springtime. That's where all the "egg-cellent" activities will be announced.

I hope this helps you plan a "hoppy" Easter at Walt Disney World, Yvonne. Please hop back to our bunny trail anytime at all if you have any more questions!

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
