Hi Neil.
The Pleasure Island part of the Downtown Disney Area has become more family-friendly, featuring many more restaurants that cater to all age groups. You will however still find
plenty of great nightlife in the entire Downtown Disney area as evening falls. Live outdoor bands and performers are a common sight and there's no shortage of great entertainment!
A few particularly great spots to consider visiting at
Downtown Disney for live entertainment include House of Blues, Paradiso 37, Raglan Road and Bongos Cuban Cafe.
If you're looking for some fun, late evening entertainment any night of the week, consider heading over to
Disney's BoardWalk Resort area. The boardwalk which surrounds Crescent Lake features some great restaurants, performers and even a few Night Clubs.
Atlantic Dance Hall and Jellyrolls are for the 21 years+ crowd and feature your choice of bands and DJs for some great dancing, or a lively piano bar and audience sing-alongs. This area is particularly easy to get to from Epcot or Hollywood Studios and makes for a great way to end your day. Consider starting out the evening dining casually at the
Big River Grille and Brewing Works or while catching the game over a bite at the
ESPN Club, both located right along Disney's BoardWalk.
You'll find plenty of entertaining ways to fill your evenings at Walt Disney World!
Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel with your great question Neil.
