Hello, Is there anyplace a guest can get dropped at the Magic Kingdom without paying for parking?

    Hi Vicky!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Are you enjoying all of the Holiday fun at Walt Disney World Resort? Even though Santa has already flown back to the North Pole for 2018, Disney's beautiful winter decor will still be up, adding SNOW much fun to your Disney Days!

All of Disney's Theme Parks, Water Parks, Disney Springs and Disney's Resort Hotels feature a dedicated and complimentary 'Drop-Off & Pick-Up Only' area, both for privately hired vehicles (like cabs) as well as for family & friends who aren't planning on visiting that location themselves. When entering these areas, you'll notify the Cast Member in the parking lot booth that you're being dropped off, and they will tell you where to go. (Most of these parking lots have different colors of painted lines on the driving path, and you'll literally 'follow the green line' to get to where you need to be.)

Magic Kingdom Park is a bit different, though. Both the parking lot and the drop-off/pick-up area are located across the Seven Seas Lagoon from the actual park entrance. To get from your car to the castle, you'll take the Monorail or a Ferryboat from the Ticket and Transportation Center. (Check out pinpoint number 2 for the Magic Kingdom Park Bus Stop.)

If you're thinking of using an app-based hired ride, look into Disney's Minnie Van Service. These are the only non-bus vehicles allowed to pick-up and drop guests off in the same area as Magic Kingdom Park Bus Stop pinpoint number 1, which is just steps away from the action and magic of Main Street U.S.A.

We'll See You Real Soon, Vicky!
