Hi Jennifer,
Thanks for visiting us at
planDisney. I am very excited about this new nighttime parade and it sounds like you are ready to experience it as well. I am excited to help you find that perfect spot for this long awaited parade.
The
Disney Starlight Parade is the newest addition to the parade route at Magic Kingdom. You will definitely want to find a sweet spot to watch the stars go by. Main Street USA is where the parade starts, but the top level of the train station is usually reserved. If you would like to be in this area, I would recommend standing and watching near the flagpole on either right hand side or left-hand side. This will give you a great viewpoint of the parade coming down the side, as well as watching it go down Main Street. This parade will not be available on nights where there is a special event like
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party which is during the month you will be visiting. This is an outdoor event and is subject to weather. Always keep an eye on your
My Disney Experience App for any updates as well as showtimes. I’m most excited for that last train called Whimsy. Whimsy will be towing some of our favorite characters in an amazing final float. Make sure you stay to the end to see our pal Jiminy Cricket.
If you are looking for a great time full of glitz and glamour like this parade is, you should check out the special event that is hosted by
Hollywood Studios.
Jollywood Nights is a party straight out of a Hollywood movie. This evening out at the parks includes a real red carpet vibe. Most guests come, dressed in their best and ready to impress. With all of the fancy events, you can’t really blame them. And you also have to match all of the special character meet and greets that are dressed up. There will be over 20 characters ready to make magical memories. The best part about it is your ticket includes unlimited downloads of your party pictures. The two that I’m looking forward to most are both dressed as Santa. That’s Duffy and Stitch, both of these characters are rare and even more rare in their Santa outfits. Say cheese!
Have a magical day,
Jeremy A.
