Has anyone walked the path between kidani village and jamba house, is it a nice walk or is it necessary to take the bus? Thanks will be visiting 9/10 and trying to decide between the two builidings.

    Hi Lesley,

I stayed at Kidani Village last summer, and my family walked over to Jambo House several times to enjoy dinner at Jiko and Boma.  The walk took us about ten minutes at a moderate pace, and was totally manageable.  You could absolutely take the internal bus between the two resorts in the event of inclement weather or sore feet from walking through the parks all day!  I have stayed at both properties and think either is a treat to call home during a Disney vacation.  Jambo House has a larger pool and lobby area, as well as two table service restaurants (Jiko and Boma) and a quick service venue (The Mara).  Kidani Village is the new, DVC property that features spacious villas, a beautifully-themed new pool area and Sanaa, a fantastic table service restaurant.  If it is important to your family to have quick access to a counter service restaurant, you may want to consider opting for Jambo House to avoid travelling between the properties.  If you plan to prepare some meals in your room and/or eat in the parks, Kidani Village is a spectacular new resort with a wonderful table service restaurant.

Whichever you chose, have a wonderful trip!
