Hey Howdy Hey Jessica and welcome to planDisney!
The beach of
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is an absolutely amazing location to view the fireworks in Magic Kingdom when not in the parks. The feel of the resort is so relaxing, the sands and views are absolutely amazing and this is an overall great way to spend an evening! Thank you so much for your question about viewing the fireworks from this location even if you might be staying at another resort. I will be happy to help you with this answer as this is one of my favorite things to do each trip.
I am so happy to report to you Jessica, that YES, this is totally an option for you on your upcoming trip! There are some details we need to discuss but long story short, this is a great place for anyone visiting Walt Disney World to experience the fireworks.
Logistically, the only potential issue would be getting to the resort. As long as you use
Disney Resort Transporation, you should not have any issues. If you will be using your vehicle, just keep in mind that security most likely will not let you in the resort parking lot unless you have a dining reservation for one of the locations or are a Guest staying at this resort. This just helps to cut down on parking availability for those staying onsite.
If you are staying at a resort other than on the Magic Kingdom loop, I would recommend a bus to Magic Kingdom and then either the monorail or boat to the Polynesian Resort. You might even make a bit more of a trip with this and take the monorail to both
Disney's Contemporary Resort and
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa as well. These resorts are amazing to walk around, appreciate the decor and theming and of course the gift shops and dining locations! They all have unique food offerings that fit with the theme of the resort and you will find some very tasty treats at each!
Best of luck as you continue to plan for your upcoming trip! If you have any further questions, please feel free to stop back and let us know, we would be happy to help!
Happy planning,
Nick
