Hiya, Ivy!
Welcome Home and welcome to planDisney. How exciting that your magical vacation is underway. I am happy to answer your question about grocery delivery as this is one of the very first things we do when we arrive to our home away from home at our
Disney Vacation Club Resort. It's one of the things that makes Disney vacations so much easier for families, as we love the kitchenettes and full-sized kitchens full of gadgets and gizmos aplenty!
Ivy, while I haven't personally used Walmart grocery delivery during our Disney vacations, my parents live in Orlando and have used Walmart for delivery often. It has worked great for them. Our family has relied on Instacart from the nearest Publix and has not had any trouble at all, and other planDisney panelists have used the Garden Grocer. It has ensured all of our bare necessities are in place to make breakfasts, sandwiches, snacks, and even dinners available when my kids get that rumbly in their tumblies. Certainly, Belle will tell you that we don't need any of our Mouseketeers to turn into the Beast from hunger on our Disney vacation.
Now, one thing to note is if you are having an Instacart or Walmart delivery, you may want to meet the driver at the Hospitality House. If you have a car, you can drive your groceries back to your room. If you don't and would like assistance from
Bell Services, they can help you but will
charge a $6 fee (prices subject to change) to bring the groceries back to your room. Either way, there are ways to ensure you get what you need.
I hope this helps you, Ivy. If you have any further
Disney Vacation Club questions or Disney planning questions during your stay, feel free to send me a direct question and I'll be so happy to help you.
Enjoy making magical memories!
Keri
