Hi Deanna!
I'd like to think that the family of
Disney's Carousel of Progress was imagining bigger pictures while dreaming of a better technological future and singing their famous song 'There's a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow." But to be honest, I'm pretty happy with our present future that consists of grocery deliveries,
cupcake ATMs, and MagicBands.
It seems that none of our panelists have yet to use Shipt specifically. However, after a bit of resEARch, it's looks to be a good service and a great option for those needing a specific shopping list of many items. The few downsides I can see with this specific service is that a membership required. If you're already a member or you're fine with becoming one, then it seems the only other caveat is that you must be present to receive a delivery.
There are a few other options for getting goods to your guest room: You can ship pre-packed boxes of anything from home, or purchase what you need from an online shopping portal or famous circular big box store, to be
delivered directly to your Disney Resort Hotel for $5 a box. To do this, include the world 'Guest' with your name as well as your check-in date. You can have items delivered a few days before your arrival and waiting for you upon check-in, or you can set up a delivery mid-vacation.
The most popular local option is Garden Grocer. Not only has this trusted company worked with Walt Disney World Resort for a number of years, deliveries can be sent to your guest room by Disney Cast Members while you're out. They'll even put your cold stuff away for you!
I hope this helped, Deanna, and I hope you have a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow!
