Hi, there!
Jodi, it sounds like you're planning a
Walt Disney World Resort vacation. How exciting! It's the very best kind if you ask me.
There's nothing I love more than experiencing the magic of the theme parks with my three kids in tow, but some adults-only time is a close second. Last summer my husband and I planned a much-needed date night and we used an
in-room babysitter from Kid's Nite Out to watch our children. I'm happy to share our experience with this service!
I booked a sitter with Kid's Nite Out about a month before our arrival. Making the reservation was super easy because I was able to do it online at kidsniteout.com. Shortly after making the reservation, I received a phone call to confirm the date and time. Kid's Nite Out also took my credit card information at that time, which made paying for the service really convenient. The day of our date night, our Kid's Nite Out babysitter arrived to our Disney Resort hotel room promptly and came prepared with age-appropriate games and toys for each of our three kiddos. Kid's Nite Out babysitters are not permitted to do any water activities with children, like taking them to the hotel pool, but with permission, the sitters may take the children out of the room. We asked our sitter to take the kids on a walk while we were gone and suggested they grab dessert before going back to the room. My husband and I left for our date night at Disney Springs confident that our kids were safe and well taken care of. Our kids enjoyed their evening and even got a chance to catch the
Electrical Water Pageant on their walk with the babysitter!
I would very much recommend using the Kid's Nite Out service during your stay. If you think your kids would do better with a particular kind of babysitter, I suggest making that request at the time of booking.
I hope this was helpful, Jodi. Please let me know if you have any other questions about your Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
