Has anyone used Instacart for grocery deliveries to their Disney resort? We will be staying at Kidani Village with 16 month old twins and wanted to get some groceries delivered. Thanks!

Hi, Mariel! We always fly into Orlando International Airport and utilize Disney's Magical Express to reach our Walt Disney World Resort hotel. I have previously rented a car or used a rideshare service to make trips to the nearby grocery stores or pharmacy. However, this takes up a good bit of time, time I consider much better spent with my family making memories. I had heard about Instacart from friends, so I decided to give it a try this past November.

We usually have breakfast in our room and like to keep snacks around for mid-afternoon balcony time while listening to British Revolution play in Epcot. Instacart allows you to choose almost any item from the nearby Publix that you may need for your family. I looked just now and see a large selection of baby items, especially bath time essentials and diapers, which will help you save room in your luggage for other necessities. In my experience, the price is a tad higher than what I find at my home Publix, but considering I am saving lots of time while on vacation, I don't mind!

When you place your order (I did mine two days in advance), you will choose a specific time slot to have your order delivered. Be sure to keep your phone available the day of delivery, as the person filling your order will text you to see if you have any additions or let you know if something is not available. You can then request an alternate to be substituted. When they arrive at your resort, you will receive a text to meet them in the lobby. If you have ordered alcoholic beverages, be sure to bring your license with you for verification. Should you have lots of bags to bring to the room, Bell Services will be happy to assist you.

I hope this information helps you, and please let me know if you have any other specific questions about Instacart or any other local delivery service!
