    Has anyone tried both Teppan Edo and San Angel Inn? If so, which do you prefer for the food? I know both have great locations and ambiance but have read mixed reviews about the food. Everyone in our party likes Mexican and Japanese and just can't decide

    Hi Barbara!
    I have tried the food at both of the restaurants that you mention and I prefer Teppan Edo hands down. Keeping in mind that food opinions are totally subjective, I just think that the food tastes better the way it's cooked at Teppan Edo. In addition, I just don't feel that the food at San Angel Inn tastes as authentic as it could. Given the choice of the two, I would pick Teppan Edo almost every time.
