Has anyone traveled with a corn allergy and or watermelon. Someone in our party is severely allergic to corn and all corn products and also watermelon. I am gluten free so I am familiar with the allergy menu but have never seen corn listed.

    Hey there, Ashley!

Thanks for stopping by with your great Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning question. You're as welcome as can be here at planDisney! I'm thrilled to hear you'll be heading to The Most Magical Place on Earth in just a short couple of weeks. The countdown is almost over! Now, let's get you prepared for a magical vacation filled with many memorable meals!

Ashley, as a Guest who's experienced in navigating Walt Disney World Resort dining with food allergies and intolerances, I'm happy to inform you that most special dietary requests can be accommodated. It's great that you're already well-versed in making allergy-friendly requests at The Most Magical Place on Earth. As you know, many dining locations at the Walt Disney World Resort can accommodate many common allergy-friendly requests as well as most less-common allergy-friendly and intolerance requests (including dishes made without corn) without any pre-planning. For these situations, I recommend speaking with a Special Diets-trained Cast Member at each dining location or requesting an allergy-friendly menu before ordering your food. However, I encourage you to reach out to the Special Diets team within 14 days of your scheduled arrival for advice on dining with both a corn and watermelon allergy. This trained team of Cast Members will help your travel party prepare to navigate the dining experience and make personalized recommendations based on your group's dietary needs!

You'll be visiting The Most Magical Place on Earth during the most wonderful time of the year, Ashley! This year at the Walt Disney World Resort, the holiday season officially begins on November 11, 2023, so keep an eye out for festive décor throughout the theme parks and Disney Resort hotels. Be sure to check out the impressive life-sized gingerbread display at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. You may even find several allergy-friendly holiday goodies available for purchase!

Ashley, I ho-ho-hope you've found this information useful as you continue to plan a holly jolly holiday at the Walt Disney World Resort. If you have any additional planning questions, you're always welcome to revisit us at planDisney! We're all ears.

    See ya real soon,
