Hi Sue!
I've made many trips to Walt Disney World with a food allergy. First of all, check out this page on
Special Dietary Requests to get started.
Next, make sure that you note any food allergies on any Table Service reservations. In these situations, the allergy will be noted on your seating card, and your server should mention it when they seat you, and the chef should visit your table
prior to orders being taken to discuss safe options. During food preparation care will be taken to prevent cross-contamination, and will be brought to your table separately from the other food at the table.
At Quick Service dining locations, you'll need to speak with a Cast Member before they take your order, and they will bring the Restaurant Manager to the front to speak with you about the allergies.
Remember, it is vital that you
speak up, if no one has mentioned the allergy, please make sure you mention it.
Have a magical vacation!
Amanda
