Hello, Heather, it's great to see you back at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with this excellent question!
I'm so pleased to hear you're contemplating
Lilo's Playhouse at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort and feel confident that your children will be thrilled with the exploration of bountiful and engaging activities, as well as being surprised by visits from their Disney Character friends. They'll be supervised by friendly and approachable staff who will make every effort to afford your children positive and enjoyable experiences in the activity center.
Some new, enriching and exciting activities include:
- "Lava Flow" fun and safe science experiments where children wear protective glasses and lab coats and learn all about physics by building paper mountain volcanoes setting them up to flow
- "Ratatouille Cooking School" will evoke the baker in your children by guidance from a trained cookie chef
- "So You Want To Be a Pirate?" will train your child like a buccaneer in preparation for meeting Captain Hook
Heather, rest assured, your children will be just fine and have a lot of fun, leaving you to head out and enjoy some well-deserved grown-up time of your own. Best of all conveniently located in a Monorail Resort, you'll be able to head back in the event they need anything.
May I suggest the new entertainment, dining and shopping at
Disney Springs, or a lovely dinner at the incredible
California Grill at Disney's Contemporary Resort. If you love Pacific Coastal Cuisine, that's the place to be and the views of Cinderella Castle and Seven Seas Lagoon are spectacular!
Best Disney Wishes to you all Heather!
Jacqueline
