Bonjour Jemma, it's great to have you here at planDisney!
There's nothing like planning a very special birthday trip to Disneyland Paris, and as you prepare for your holiday next February it's great to have
a lot to look forward to with the changing of each season! For so many fellow families making their way there,
planning for some potentially chilly weather from the start of the month as we gradually approach springtime, especially when you're looking forward to watching
the wonderful shows and parades on offer! I checked with the Cast Members at Disneyland Paris and here's what they shared with me:
- At the current time, guests can expect to see Disney Stars of Parade throughout the year, with limited-time offerings taking place during certain seasons and special events such as A Million Splashes of Colour. (Though parade offerings at Disneyland Paris have seen a lot of change and new developments over the past few years, they anticipate that this will make a triumphant return to signal the coming of spring in 2025 - though at the current time there are no publicly available dates confirming this for guests.)
- A Million Splashes of Colour made its debut in early February this year (even a day earlier than it had been expected on the 10th to the surprise and delight of so many guests), continuing on through the spring and summer before finally ending in a few weeks. Until anything else officially updated online or announced on the Disney Parks Blog, your best bet leading up to your visit is to check the Disneyland Paris mobile app as entertainment offerings and times may always be subject to change without prior notice!
If you do have your hearts set on a certain parade, or perhaps a nighttime spectacular - you might be interested in
booking a spot in a reserved viewing area so that you can make sure your daughter will have a great way to watch these on her birthday! (On our recent visit with my niece, we found ourselves behind a massive wall of parents with larger children on their shoulders blocking the view, so having some extra peace of mind in booking this is now something I absolutely recommend.)
I hope this helps a bit Jemma, be sure to keep an eye out for any updates especially through the very active
Disneyland Paris social media team so you can be well prepared before you go! In the meantime, don't hesitate to come back to us at planDisney for any other tips to make your daughter's 4th birthday celebration the very best!
Here's to getting older at a magical place where you never have to grow up!
