    Can anyone tell me more about the grand gathering safari character dinner at AK? What exactly is it and was it fun?

    We met in Asia with our tour guide just prior to loading up on the All-Terrain Vehicle that took us on an evening safari ride.  The animals are out and about, roaming.  Once we returned to where we started we headed out to the Tusker House, and had dinner.  It was a family style dinner, the theme was from Africa, and even the kids seemed to enjoy the food.  There were probably 10 kids in all, so there were some finicky eaters.  Just after dinner in the courtyard, we all had the opportunity to see some exotic wildlife, it was actually very interesting, and definitely kept the attention of the children.  We had an opportunity to meet a very special someone, that thrilled and had pictures and autographs.  It was a lot of fun!!  It was relaxing.  Heather M.
