Can anyone tell me what I might expect from the buses at POFQ in July? How long do you wait for a bus? Are the buses crowded? Are there any stops? How long does it take to get to the parks?

Hi Amber! The Disney bus system always tries to run with a bus to and from resorts every 15-20 minutes. During busier times they will try to put extra buses on the line so this will remain the same no matter what month of the year.

Port Orleans will not share with another resort but they can share with the two sections, Riverside and French Quarter. This can change according to time of year or time of day. Holidays and after fireworks are examples of times then Disney will put a bus to each section to help alleviate the crowds. No matter what time of year or day you are standing at a bus stop it will seem like that 15-20 minutes is actually at least 30. Try to be patient and I hope you have better luck at timing. My family is always arriving as we see the backside of a bus driving away!

The following are approximate times to each park from Port Orleans.
    Animal Kingdom: 30 minutes
    Epcot: 34 minutes
    Hollywood Studios: 18 minutes
    Magic Kingdom: 17 minutes

One last hint to bus traveling at Disney. If you have a stroller please understand that you will have to have it folded in order to ride in the vehicle. It is best to have it ready and folded before the bus arrives and to have all packages and anything you might have stored under it out so it can be folded easily. This is a Florida law and many guests try to convince the drivers to allow them to bring it on but it just can't be done.
