Hi Anita!
Cape May Cafe at Disney's Beach Club is one of my family's favorite spots for breakfast. During the buffet breakfast, beach-attired Minnie, Donald and Goofy visit your table for some fun interaction. Cape May Cafe does not offer lunch service, and dinner service is a New England clam bake style buffet, which does have characters.
If you are looking for character dining for dinner, you can look into nearby Garden Grill in Epcot's Land pavilion for a great family-style all-you-can-eat dinner. Mickey, Chip & Dale are dressed in their farming outfits and stop to say hello while you dine. Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary Resort is another wonderful dinner (or breakfast) buffet choice, with Mickey, Goofy, Chip & Dale on hand.
For character lunch options, consider Crystal Palace at the Magic Kingdom which features Pooh and friends with a buffet lunch (also available for breakfast and dinner). Another is Hollywood & Vine at Disney's Hollywood Studios where your buffet will be with Playhouse Disney characters.
If you are looking for Disney Princesses, Norway's Akershus in Epcot, which offers the Princess Storybook Lunch and Princess Storybook Dinner featuring Princesses and friends with a pre-plated menu choices.
For more information on character dining, check out
Disney's Character Dining page, or allears.net for dining menus and character lists. Don't forget to call 407-WDW-DINE to book your Advanced Dining Reservations and many can also be booked online at DisneyWorld.com.
Hopefully this will help you plan the character meal that will work for your family! Please come back to the panel with any other questions you'd like help with, we love to plan!
