Hey there, Caroline! My son made his Disney debut at the tender age of 7 months, so we learned a thing or two about doing Disney with a baby. Let's get you ready to enjoy Walt Disney World with your family's sweet new addition!
We're planners by nature here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, so my first bit of advice is to try planning your meals and activities around baby's regular schedule. You won't be able to keep to a strict schedule, of course, but if you can try to fit in feedings and naps close to your usual intervals, you're much more likely to have a happy baby.
When it comes to rest time, we found that having our own stroller with us was a big help. We'd just recline the seat and let our son lay back and snooze while we sipped on a soda. It was a nice break for Mom and Dad, too!
And of course, we can't talk about babies and Walt Disney World without mentioning the amazing Baby Care Centers! There's one in each Theme Park, and they're essential for families with little ones. Step into this cool oasis and you'll find plenty of changing tables, high chairs, rocking chairs, and a private room just for nursing moms. Plus, there's a kitchenette with water cooler, microwave and even supplies for sale in case you forgot anything. For an overview, let my fellow Panelist Jennifer V. take you on a video tour of the Baby Care Centers.
Take it from the Disney Moms, you can have a wonderful Walt Disney World vacation with baby, Caroline. I just know your family will treasure these precious memories with your little one.
