Does anyone have any suggestions on quick serve restaurants for someone who has food allergies?

    Melissa:

Bless your heart!  My mother suffers from food allergies, and I know it can be difficult eating out!  However, Disney makes dining much easier for guests with food allergies.

Because you didn't mention which food allergies you had, let me make the general suggestion that I do for many of my friends in your shoes: simply tell the cast member at the counter that you have food allergies and ask for their "allergy/ingredient book."  It is a large book they keep behind the counter with the ingredients for all of their menu items!  No matter your food allergy, you'll be able to spot anything that might not be best for you and make intelligent, healthy choices for you and your family!

Another good resource is online menu sectioni at www.alleears.net.  When you choose Dining, you'll be taken to Disney's dining locations and have access to restaurant menus.  There is also a section from readers who have allergies and their recommendations for specific food allergies.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Whitney, Mississippi

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
