Has anyone stayed in the pirate rooms at CBR? Are they quiet? Too far away from everything? We travel at the end of May, so we could change our reservation if it would make a more magical trip. I have boys 6 and 9. We are first timers! Thanks!

While I have not stayed in a Pirate Room at Caribbean Beach, I did have the chance to tour one.  They are really well themed and I think your boys would really enjoy the Pirate Ship beds!  The Pirate Themed rooms are located in Trinidad South.  This is a nice and quiet part of the resort.  It is a bit of a walk to Old Port Royale (food court and main pool) but Caribbean Beach is a very spread out resort, so most rooms require some walking.

To see a PDF map of Caribbean Beach, go to www.willCAD.org.  Choose the Moderate Resorts, and you can click on a map of Caribbean Beach to get an idea of where your room will be.  You will have to decide if this location will work for your family.

Make sure to stop by guest services to pick up your "First Visit" button.  Have a great trip.

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
