Has anyone stayed w/ a party of 5 (2 adults, 3 kids) in one of the Deluxe level rooms that have the max occupancy of 5? I need to know if it will be too crowded.. we'd rather do 1 room at the deluxe level than 2 at the value level..

    Hi Marina,

I've done this multiple times. In fact, when my youngest two were under 2 years old, my family stayed at the Yacht Club with 2 adults and 5 children in a regular room. The youngest 2 were in port-o-cribs at the time. One child stayed on the day bed and the other 2 shared one of the queen beds. Now, since they are all over 3, we have to get two rooms or stay in a Villa on the trips that we bring our whole family.

I agree with you, I'd choose to stay in 1 Deluxe room over 2 Value rooms any day. The Deluxe Resorts are superior in every way and the amenities make dealing with slightly "crowded" quarters to be more than worth it. The Deluxe Resorts all have queen sized beds and the day bed is the size of a twin. I think the only bonus to 2 Value rooms would be having 2 bathrooms / showers to get ready in the morning. However, this is also quite do-able with one room because the toilet and shower are often in one room with the sinks and mirror separate. So someone can be doing their hair while the next person is showering, etc.

We only go to our room to sleep and shower and otherwise we are out enjoying the Parks. So, we've always found that we can deal perfectly fine with 5 in a Deluxe room. Again, the amenities far outweigh any inconvenience in my mind. For example, the close proximity to the Parks, the wonderful restaurants and the incredible pools are all more than worth it. That being said, I really haven't ever felt uncomfortably cramped at all.

    Have a wonderful vacation,
