Has anyone stayed at Bay Lake Tower's studio and rented a full size crib? I have a 6yo and a 2yo. Thinking of renting a crib for the toddler. Is there enough room in the studio for the crib? Thanks!

    Hi Julia,

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question! I love Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort. I have not stayed in a Deluxe Studio there, but I have done some research on your question and talked with fellow Moms Panelists Kari, Jacqui, and Andrea to get some ideas for you.

First, your Deluxe Studio should come with a Pack 'n Play in the unit. If you find that it is not there when you arrive, call Housekeeping to have one delivered. The Pack 'n Play will fit. I do know that your toddler might be getting too big for a good night's sleep in a Pack 'n Play, so there are a couple of other options.

The resort will have a limited number of cribs available upon request. You can add a crib request to your reservation by calling the resort directly at 407-824-1000 within 10 days of your arrival, or you can request one when you check in. While Disney will do their best to honor your request, a request is not a guarantee. I believe that the cribs that Disney has are not full-sized, but they are bigger than a Pack 'n Play, or at least taller and look more like a traditional crib. I spoke with a cast member at Bay Lake Tower who assured me that these cribs will fit in a Deluxe Studio.

If you use the Pack 'n Play or Disney-provided crib, the best place to put it is probably near the sofa and table. You could rent a full-sized crib from an off-site company such as A Baby's Best Friend (abbf.com). I have done this and had good luck with this company; however, I am not sure that a full-sized crib is going to fit in a Deluxe Studio without some serious moving of furniture and squeezing everyone else in.

I hope that this gives you some options, Julia. Please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions in planning your vacation!
