Hi Georgina. I really like the
Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan. Paying in advance helps with budgeting and lowers expenses during my vacation. I also love the refillable drink mug. Not only does it help quench my thirst during vacation, it's also a great souvenir. (I can purchase the refillable mug even if I am not using a Disney Dining Plan though.)
Everyone in your party ages 3 and over will receive the refillable mug as well as 2 Quick-Service Meals and 2 Snacks for each night of your stay. Disney enhanced the Dining Plans this year by including non-alcoholic specialty beverages as well as beer, wine and cocktails. This is such a great addition and I am really excited about it!
My only question is whether or not it's a good fit for you. Will you need a table service meal each day when you are on vacation (in addition to or in place of your quick-service meals)? Is it a good value for you? Take a look at the list of
restaurants that are part of the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan. I would suggest that you review a few of them you plan to visit and look at the menu items and prices. Would the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan work well with your vacation plans?
If you decide to add the plan to your vacation, be sure to use your snack credits wisely (don't use a snack credit for a bottle of water, save the credit for more expensive snack items). Be sure to use all of your entitlements. Remaining entitlements will be printed on your meal receipts or you can ask your Resort Concierge or Guest Relations for the information.
If you have any further questions as you make your decision, please let us know. Thanks so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
