    Does anyone have personal experience with the Pirate Adventure Cruises? We are thinking about sending my DS (9) on the Bayou Pirate Adventure out of Port Orleans Riverside. The program has been around for years but no one has posted any personal experience

    Hello there, V!

    The Pirate Adventure Cruises at the Walt Disney World Resort are a swashbuckling good time for guests 4 - 12 years of age.  My own children have participated in Disney's Pirate Adventure a few times through the years.  The cruises are extremely well run by dynamic Cast Members.  I would recommend these to anyone.  The Bayou Pirate Adventure leaves out of Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside at the Fishin' Hole on Ol' Man Island.  The children will enjoy a sack meal.  During their voyage, they will search for treasure at each "port."  Kids also enjoy being given a red and white striped pirate hat to wear which is adorned with Mickey Ears!  What's more is that while your children are out having adventures on the "high seas," parents get some free time to relax and enjoy without the little mates.  Call (407) WDW-PLAY to book.  Ahoy mateys!
