    Anyone know why there is a blackout period for the new free dining from 10/7 until 10/22? Is there something going on during this time? What are the chances they might include these dates later?

    Hi Susan,

    Although I cannot say for sure, my guess is that these dates are not included in the most recent free dining promotion because the Disney resorts are already at high occupancy from October 7th through 22nd due to the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival.  The festival draws large numbers of guests from around the world.  It is incredibly popular.  I believe it is highly unlikely that a revised offer for free dining during these dates will be issued, especially since October is just around the corner.  I hope I am wrong, but I wouldn't count on free dining at that time.
