Does anyone know how many tickets they made available for each night of the Oogie Boogie Bash? Just curious on what the crowds will be like. My husband and I are going on a Tuesday night in September. Thank you!!

Boo to you, Chandra, and thanks for bringing your spook-tacular Halloween Time question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

The Disneyland Resort hasn’t released an exact number of how many tickets are sold for each night of Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party; however, I attended the Bash this past Tuesday, September 17, and didn’t find the crowds to be an issue! I do have a couple recommendations to make your evening run smoothly, though. First, I recommend mapping out your “must-do” events ahead of time so you don’t miss out. Several of the experiences are only offered at specific times, such as DescenDANCE, Mickey’s Trick & Treat, the Frightfully Fun Parade, and Villainous!, so you’ll want to plan accordingly. You can find all these event times listed on the handy Disneyland app.

The longest line I experienced on Tuesday was for Villains Grove in Redwood Creek Challenge Trail. I waited about half an hour, but I heard the line approached two hours mid-party. So, I’d recommend heading to Villains Grove at the beginning or end of the evening to avoid a long wait. Even if you do experience a wait, it’s definitely worth it!

The lines for the Treat Trails may appear long at first, but they move very quickly. You may even stumble upon some favorite Disney Villains on the way to your candy! I especially loved seeing Oogie Boogie inside the Disney Animation Building.

You’ll want to find a spot ahead of time for Villainous!, the exclusive World of Color show for Oogie Boogie Bash. Luckily, there are two showtimes offered, so I’d recommend watching the second performance for fewer crowds. Also, don’t forget about the Frightfully Fun Parade! The great thing about the pathway for the parade route in Disney California Adventure Park is that it’s long and wide, so that means there are plenty of decent viewing spots. I recommend opting for a spot near the beginning of the parade, which is on Pixar Pier, near Boardwalk Pizza & Pasta and Jumpin’ Jellyfish.

As for food, I suggest eating dinner before the party begins, to maximize your time spent on Oogie Boogie Bash experiences. There’s also an Oogie Boogie Bash Dining Package available at Wine Country Trattoria, which includes a three-course meal, and a spot in the reserved parade viewing area for later that evening.

I hope these tips help make your Oogie Boogie Bash experience dreadfully delightful! Wishing you many happy haunts!
