Hi Laura and welcome back to planDisney! How lucky for you to be sailing on a Disney cruise! Our family just finished a sailing on the Disney Dream and we can’t wait to book another one. Now let’s talk about joining the
Disney Vacation Club while onboard a Disney cruise!
Laura, I have some good news for you. I just reached out to a DVC Cast Member and they confirmed that you will be able to join DVC while on a European sailing aboard a Disney cruise! You’ll also be able to
finance your purchase while onboard. If you have any further questions about joining and financing a DVC membership, I suggest scheduling
a virtual meeting or
contacting the DVC Sales Center for additional information.
While onboard, look out for the DVC kiosk as well as the events they hold on the ship for prospective members. Use the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app to find the DVC locations onboard through the deck plan as well as DVC events on the daily itinerary. During these events, you'll learn about which DVC Resorts have promotional incentives, as well as any exclusive incentives and giveaways being offered for joining DVC while aboard the ship. For my sailing this past week, DVC Cast Members were offering a Stitch Magnetic Shoulder Plush just for sitting down for a brief one-on-one discussion about joining DVC!
Here’s a bonus tip! You’ll also want to inform Cast Members of any Disney affiliations you may have such as being a
Disney+ subscriber or a
Disney Visa Cardholder, as you may be eligible for additional incentives. These offers change from time to time, so check the
Special Offers page on the DVC website prior to your sailing to see what savings opportunities are available at the time of purchase.
