Hi, does anyone know of places close to Disney world that offer free covid tests for Canadians to get back into the country?

Hello, Lindsay! Welcome to planDisney and thanks for stopping by with your question! I would be happy to try to shed light on the testing options available for return travel back to Canada. However, please know that recommendations are fluid and often changing, so please refer to the CDC and Canadian Health Service websites for the most up-to-date guidelines!

While in Orlando, there are two options for free testing that I am aware of. The first is called BeeperMD, a service that can come meet you at your hotel for a free PCR test, and they advertise results within 36 hours. Secondly, I’m told that Walgreens pharmacies near Walt Disney World offer free testing as well, including the ID Now Rapid Diagnostic test. Appointments and further information can be found on the Walgreens Website. Of note, Antigen tests may also be available but these are typically not allowed for re-entry to Canada.

Lindsay, I hope that this information helps you make smooth travel plans for your return trip home! This will hopefully help make your Disney adventures and 50th-anniversary celebrations much more enjoyable, knowing this can be easily taken care of. Please do not hesitate to come back to see us if we can help in any other ways.

Wishing you safe and happy travels,
    Clara
