Hello Jaynee and thanks for bringing such an important question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel where it's our pleasure to assist you with your upcoming plans to visit Walt Disney World Resort.
Like you I'm super excited about the rapidly approaching June opening date for Toy Story Land at
Disney's Hollywood Studios and as an avid lover of roaster coasters I simply cannot wait shrink down to the size of one of Andy's toys to enjoy the curling coils of
Slinky Dog Dash!
And speaking as part of the Pooh-sized populous I can totally relate to your valid concerns about how fluffy-friendly Slinky Dog Dash is likely to be and my honest answer at this point in time is that because I've not yet had the fun of riding Slinky Dog Dash I can only speculate and be guided by the
accessibility guidelines (found
here on the right hand side of the webpage) which currently states that Slinky Dog Dash is -
- a family themed roller coaster
- a thrill ride with small drops
- riders should be at least 38in or 97cm or taller to ride
- riders must transfer to a standard wheelchair before getting into ride vehicle
- Mouseketeers aged under 7 years old should be accompanied by another Guest aged 14 years or older
Additionally I also thought you may find this recent
Disney Parks Blog - Ride Along with Slinky Dog Dash at Toy Story Land to be a fun planning resource for your upcoming visit.
Pop back anytime to ask me another question as you've always got a friend in me!
