Does anyone know what the KidCot projects are in Epcot for 2009? I heard it was a mask last year. And what do they make or do at the Kids DIscovery Club at AK? We missed that last time. THANKS!

    Hi Kim!

The Kidcot Fun Stops in Epcot are a lot of fun for kids. There are three Fun Stops in Future World, and 11 at the various World Showcase pavilions. The main craft project is a mask which your child will add details to at each stop. The cast members in the World Showcase will talk about their culture and may even write messages for your child in their native languages. At each stop, the handle of the mask will get stamped, and a different paper charm representing that country will be added to the mask. Check your park map for the Kidcot locations.

Disney also sells passport kits for touring the World Showcase. It has a little passport book, stickers for all of the countries, and an Epcot button. As you visit each country, your children can apply the sticker to their passport and also get it stamped by a cast member. This is another fun idea that keeps kids interested in touring each country.

The Kids Discovery Club at Animal Kingdom is similar to the Kidcot Fun Stops. There are six locations around the park with hands-on activities and scavenger hunts. All of the locations are marked on your park map.

Similar to the Epcot passport, you can purchase an Animal Kingdom Safari Journal at the park. It is a booklet with stickers that you can apply as you find the different animals and various sights at the park. This kit also includes a button.

I hope this helps! Have fun!
