    Does anyone know who will be hosting the televised Disney Holiday specials? And, will there be any musical performances at Walt Disney World or only DisneyLand? Thanks!

    Hi Cathy! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

    It looks like you will be arriving for your Walt Disney World Resort vacation in the midst of the filming that is taking place (beginning today!) for Disney's holiday specials that will air on ABC and Disney Channel. How exciting! While I have vacationed there many times during the Christmas season, I have not been there during the filming, but it always looks like it is a magical time. I know you will have a lot of fun!

    The details we know so far have come from the Disney Parks Blog, so I will pass along that information as well as link to it for you. It looks like the hosts for two of the holiday specials - “The Wonderful World of Disney: Magical Holiday Celebration” and “Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Parade” - will include Jordan Fisher and Sarah Hyland at Walt Disney World Resort, while Jesse Palmer is the host at Disneyland Resort. For the third holiday special - “Disney Parks Presents a 25 Days of Christmas Holiday Party” - Jordan Fisher will be joined by Ruby Rose Turner and Dakota Lotus as hosts.

    Unfortunately, the Disney Parks Blog article that I linked above does not include the locations that the musical performances will take place, but it does list the ones that are expected to take place and there is quite an extensive list! I suggest asking a Cast Member when you arrive if there is a schedule of events available for that day's taping.
