Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Angie!
The
Highway in the Sky Dine Around is on my magical bucket list, and I’m so excited to hear you’re hoping to score a reservation. To me, this dining experience has it all: fabulous drinks, a selection of delicious bites from some great restaurants, desserts, and a fireworks viewing to top it all off. Plus, the iconic “monorail” resorts and monorail transportation between stops? I’m swooning!
Angie, I haven’t heard anything about this experience being discontinued. In fact, I think it’s very popular, even if it does fly a little under the radar. Many of Walt Disney World Resort’s
special dining experiences, including dessert parties, open for reservations anywhere from 180 days to six weeks in advance. My advice is to keep checking availability, and hopefully the first week in October will pop up soon. I would definitely check regularly, as availability is quite limited for this experience. I’m sending you some pixie dusted wishes that reservations pop up soon and your wish comes true!
If this kind of dining experience appeals to you, I highly recommend a stop at the
Epcot International Food & Wine Festival during your
autumn visit to Walt Disney World. My husband and I love to enjoy a progressive dining experience in Epcot’s World Showcase, where we can sample small plates, drinks, and desserts from a variety of countries while taking in all the sights, sounds, and experiences at each Pavilion. For another super-cool experience, check out
Party for the Senses, where you can taste innovative food and drink from award-winning chefs, and even meet and mingle with the chefs at this imaginative event.
Have so much fall fun, Angie! Bon appétit!
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
