    Hello: Does anyone know if they are having any special Fourth of July events at any of the parks? Going to be there from 7/1-7/9. Was hoping for the Star Wars dessert party but just found out they are no longer going to offer this after 6/30.

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I have had the opportunity to celebrate our nation's birthday at Walt Disney World Resort, and it has been fantastic. In past years, there have been star-spangled desserts and patriotic merchandise as well as a special firework displays. Last year, Disney's Celebrate America! A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky was presented two nights in a row on July 3 and 4, giving Guests the opportunity to see this show from two locations. Although the views from inside the Magic Kingdom are incredible, my favorite viewing area is high atop Disney's Contemporary Resort at California Grill. I suggest making a late dining reservation to enjoy a delicious dessert with the patriotic fireworks show!

    At this time, details for this year's Fourth of July celebration have yet to be released so keep checking the Disney Parks Blog for announcements. Please visit us again should you have additional questions before your July vacation.
