Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with a great question, Katherine!
I am happy to hear that you care considering a fall visit to the Walt Disney World Resort. This is one of my favorite times of the year to visit The Most Magical Place on Earth, and now that we can finally
return “home” I am also planning a mother and daughter getaway with my oldest girl.
To aid in social distancing measures and promote the health and safety of Guests and Cast Members, some experiences are currently paused and may still be unavailable during your visit. At this time we have no information on park capacity and when fireworks shows will resume. Since a
park reservation is now required in addition to theme park tickets, be sure to check
park availability online before making your final decision and purchasing tickets. Most character dining experiences are also temporarily unavailable, so keep that in mind while planning. For the latest news I highly recommend visiting the
Disney Parks Blog, they are usually the first ones to release updates!
If you decide to go ahead with your fall stay, please know that your visit is going to be different from what you were used to, but it is still going to be magical! Please, take time to consider the details about
attractions and entertainment Guests will be able to experience during the phased reopening, and don’t forget to check
operational and
dining updates.
Thank you for sending a question our way! I hope this helps you while planning and that you come back to visit us real soon!
Best Disney wishes,
Thiana
