Does anyone know how far Epcot is from the Magic Kingdom? Trying to figure how to plan a special dinner @ Epcot and still make the fireworks @ MK. Thks

    Hi Elizabeth!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel.  Epcot is a large park.  However, if you are near the front of it, then you just need to exit the park and walk to the monorail station.  There you can catch a monorail to the Transportation and Ticket Center, just outside the Magic Kingdom.  Once you are at the TT&C you can transfer to a Magic Kingdom monorail.  The whole journey takes about 30 to 45 minutes depending on how long you have to wait for the monorails; most trips can be accomplished in 30 minutes so to hit 45 minutes, you basically have to be unlucky!

If you drive between the parks, then I would plan on a solid 45 minutes.  That includes the time to walk to your car at Epcot, to drive to the Magic Kingdom, to wait and ride a parking tram to the Transportation and Ticket Center, and then to ride the monorail or the ferry boat to the Magic Kingdom.

I hope this helps!  Write back if you have any more questions!
