    Does anyone know how a family might get selected for the WDW Morning Show tha opens the park? They usually ride on the steam train with some characters.

    Hi Kristi!!!

    We had the opportunity to be selected as Grand Marshals of a parade once at Disney's Hollywood Studios!!  It was such a magical experience and provided memories we will never forget!

    To be selected for a parade or rope drop ceremony like you are talking about is purely a random selection.  There is really nothing you can do to help your chances of getting selected.  All I can say is go into each day having fun and see what happens.  I can promise you that they are looking for families that are enjoying themselves, smiling, and having fun!! 

    I wish you luck and some extra pixie dust on getting selected!!
