    Hi! Does anyone know if ECV rentals are available onboard Disney Cruise Lines? If not, will local Orlando scooter rental companies allow you to take their scooters onboard?

    Disney Cruise Line does an awesome job of making sure that the ship is accessible to all guests, so that everyone onboard can have the most magical vacation ever. The theaters, restaurants and shops are all wheelchair/ECV accessible, as well as select accessible staterooms, which have wider entrances and larger paths to navigate around the room.

    Guests who require mobility equipment will need to arrange for the rental, delivery and pickup of the equipment on their own, as Disney Cruise Line does not offer a rental service on the ship. I  know there are several companies that provide these rentals for Disney Cruise guests, and the company that I've personally heard recommended most often is Special Needs at Sea.

    For more information regarding any special assistance you may require onboard, I encourage you to contact the Disney Cruise Line Special Services Team at (407)566-3602, or by email at SpecialServices@disneycruise.com. They may have more information and recommendations regarding companies that provide mobility equipment rentals. The folks on the Special Services Team are amazing, and they will do everything they can to help provide solutions for your particular needs!
