Ahoy, Megan! I'm glad you decided to drop anchor here at planDisney. I'd love to share my personal experience sailing with an EpiPen.
Disney Cruise Line is renowned for its dedication to Guest safety. I’ve been navigating the allergy-friendly seas since my son was little. The attentive and knowledgeable Crew is well-trained in handling food allergies, offering personalized meal planning and preparation to avoid cross-contamination. You'll find a variety of delicious, allergy-friendly options at every dining venue on board.
I always carry my son’s EpiPen in my carry-on luggage and have never encountered any issues. Disney recommends that all
medication be carried on and not packed in your checked luggage. Plus, should you need the medication, you’ll have it handy.
If you haven’t already done so, I recommend filling out the
Special Services form under your reservation to note your allergies. Whether you decide to dine at
Cabanas or one of the table service locations upon embarking, let a Crew Member know about your food allergies. They'll talk to the chef and help you find safe options.
At your first dinner onboard, your dining room servers will ask about your food allergies and offer modifications and alternatives that work for you. Since your servers “rotate” with you to each restaurant, they will quickly learn your favorite dishes and offer helpful suggestions for eating safely all around the ship and at
Disney Castaway Cay.
With fun-filled activities, world-class entertainment, and the magic of Disney, you can relax and create unforgettable memories, knowing your dietary needs are in expert hands. Megan, if I missed the mark and you don’t have a food allergy but an environmental one, rest assured that the staff also takes those seriously.
Thank you for stopping by and asking us your question. I’m wishing you a safe and wonderful vacation aboard the Disney Fantasy.
SEAS the adventure!
