    Does anyone know if I can still cash travelers checks at WDW. I've used them in the past and cashed them at the front desk of our hotel. I just wanted to know before I purchased more for our next trip.

    Hi Pat! Times are changing and travelers checks are now almost something from the past. With all the new technology available there are so many new options out there.

    Disney will accept Travelers Checks but they must be in US dollars and you must provide a photo ID when using them. Please note that sadly some cast members might not be familiar with them and this can be time consuming when purchasing in stores.

    You might consider buying a Disney Gift Card which will ultimately take the place and serve as the same thing as a travelers check. All Disney locations will honor these including your resorts, restaurants, snack bars, recreation, and shops. From experience it is an easy way to handle your finances with little worry.
