Hi Adam,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you for your question. I just love the theming of
Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, with its pastel colors and tropical vibes – it’s such a relaxing place to spend your vacation.
Adam, the answer to your question is somewhat tricky because the construction at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort means that things are always changing, and what’s true today may have totally changed by the time of your August visit. I’m going to recommend you call the resort directly at (407) 934-3400 and provide more details about your arrival date and what room category you’ve booked; they will have detailed logistics about the bus schedule and will be able to help you figure out what will work best for you.
Once you’ve sorted that out, you could give a quick call to Walt Disney World Reservations at (407) 939-1936 to have your building or village request added to your reservation; while requests are not guaranteed, Cast Members do their best to accommodate these requests when assigning rooms. You may also want to request “Near Transportation” when completing your
online check-in using the My Disney Experience app.
Adam, enjoy your stay at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort. I’ve heard great things about the new
Spyglass Grill – an order of the Caribbean tacos with a frozen tropical drink on the side sounds just perfect to me.
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
